Even though it’s an off-year, there are several important elections on Nov. 4, including:
- New York City mayoral race (Go Zohran!!!)
- Virginia & New Jersey governors races
- California ballot initiatives including one on redistricting
- Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention elections

Join us every Thursday night, starting 10/9, from 6-8pm in PB212 for writing letters and making calls for democracy! We will be contacting voters & representatives alike to fight back against Republican efforts to further gerrymander our state. No experience necessary!

If writing letters, bring paper & writing utensils (and envelopes and stamps if you have them).
If making calls, just bring your phone and laptop!

You’re invited to join the Butler Dems at our callout meeting at 7pm on September 16th in GH104 (Gallahue Hall)! Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring your friends. This will be a great opportunity to learn about this organization and our plans for the semester! From regular member meetings, to guest speaker events, to community days of action, to social events, we plan on it being an exciting semester.

Join us on Thursday, March 6th at 7:30pm in Jordan Hall 203 for a town hall with Indianapolis City Councilor ! All are welcome, and we will be discussing the state of the Democratic Party in the second era of Trump and how we can win in the future.

Today, the Butler Dems wore blue in solidarity with protests nationwide against Project 2025 and Donald Trump. A huge thank you to all of our members who participated 💙

Three successful canvasses later! Thanks to our members who participated in talking to voters about , , .jess.in, and other Democrats up and down the ballot. Election Day is in two days, let’s win this!!

Are you interested in helping local candidates spread the word about their campaigns? This Saturday, we are helping State Senate candidate Katrina Owens’ campaign! With this being our very last canvassing event, this is a great way to increase awareness about the candidate’s policies on the south east-side of Indianapolis.

We will be meeting at the bulldog statue in front of Atherton Union (facing Hampton Dr) at 12pm (noon) on Saturday. Carpooling is available and encouraged. Please RSVP in our Google Form in our Linktree!
