ATTENTION: Trash Pick-up
1. Waste management will conclude their contract through the month of November. Waste Pro prepared for the possibility of having to start November 1st.
2. Those that have Monday pick-up under Waste Management your last day will be November 30th.
3. Those that have Tuesday pick-up with our new service provider will begin on December the 1st.
4. If you have a Blue, Purple & Gold trash can or a personal 95 gal can they will be serviced by Waste Pro.
5. It is unclear to us at this time if or when Waste Management collects their cans after November 30th, when that info is available, we will let you know.
6. A website is being worked on specifically for the Town of Iowa by Waste Pro once it is up, we will provide a link on our town site as well.
7. Only 3 holidays will trash service not run for Waste Pro. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. If the holiday falls on your day of collection, it will pick up the next day.
8. Specifics on a once-a-month bulk pick-up have not been finalized as of today. the process of this program will be announced in the next few weeks.
9. I am asking if you have seen this, please talk to your neighbors just in case they are not aware.

As we are working through our new trash cans being delivered, I hope we can exercise a bit of patience as we make this change. Sorting through this could take weeks, but we are resilient people. A post was made in error yesterday that might have added some confusion. We did post the service notice that the Town of Iowa received indicating the day town hall and the park are picked up. This service notice was to remind folks about the process for old carts and reminders about cart placement. Our pick-up is on Monday and that could have created some confusion. Let's bring some positivity to a service that will provide more services for less cost. This discussion will be recorded and released as quickly as possible. Please share with your neighbors and friends.
