Thank you to everyone who came to our celebration of life for the 554 and 271 buses last night. Rep. Hall and I really appreciated hearing from the community about how much these buses meant to our community. And a special shoutout to one attendee who traveled to Issaquah via transit all the way from Everett (!!) and shared his experiences going from a direct bus to a bus-to-rail commute!
We look forward to keep working with the community to improve transit in Issaquah and ensure light rail to Issaquah gets built as quickly as possible 🚌🚈
