I had some business to attend to and stopped by a local office as a walk-in. After introducing myself as Shansla Bryant, Florida Notary Public and owner of Duval Mobile Notary Marks, I offered the receptionist one of my promotional bags.

She accepted it with a smile, and after my business was completed, our conversation naturally continued.

During our discussion, she asked:

"May I refer you to a non-ambulatory client?"

Of course, my answer was:

"Absolutely. I'd be happy to help."

Just like that, a simple act of kindness and a brief conversation turned into a new client referral.
