From an October 1957 newspaper ad..."Cedar Hills Home Fete Under Way" This is a listing of the home builders who constructed our homes! I see the name "Wilson". I'm curious if Wilson Blvd. may have been named after this builder or his family? There is also a "Vanzant" listed. LS fans, anyone know if this was a relative to the famous band members?
CHAPS is intended to celebrate mid-century modern architecture in our neighborhood built between 1955-1960's, recognize & honor the birthplace of significant southern music bands whose members formerly lived in/around Cedar Hills and Lakeshore & provide a platform for neighbors to share information/tips/contacts about improving their homes.
