Our team hosted the annual Silent Walk event in honor of sexual assault awareness month. Nearly 75 men and women gathered and participated in the 1-mile journey. Survivors often stay silent about what has happened to them, so we walk together in silence to show our solidarity. After the walk, attendees listened to a survivor’s testimony before enjoying lunch together. Mission readiness is possible when our service members receive such ongoing support from the military community.
