The motorcycle crash previously reported by Cambria Scanner Alert has now been confirmed fatal.

Initial emergency radio traffic indicated a motorcycle struck a deer, leaving a male rider motionless along the roadside. Air medical transport was dispatched.

Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees has confirmed he was called to the fatal crash scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and everyone affected by this tragedy.
