Mayor Austin Lumbard

10/07/2026

Thank you to OC Sheriff Don Barnes for your endorsement of my re-election campaign.
As a father and former reserve deputy, public safety in my hometown in incredibly important to me. As our population has grown we have had to invest in public safety to keep up with that growth. More business and families means more patrols needed to keep our city safe.
I am proud of the work that my council colleagues and I have achieved and thank our brave police officers and support staff for their hard work.

Thank you to the Orange County Register for your endorsement of my re-election campaign for Mayor of Tustin.

It has been an honor to serve our community and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you again.

Ultimately, we don’t see a plausibly convincing case for ousting Lumbard in favor of Clark.

I have learned twenty seven ways to break this boat. Seriously. But the beauty is in getting back up and trying again. In resilience earned by experience. Showing up for family, friends, and community, and honoring the moments where they do the same for you. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve others; to work to make our town a better place. God does not expect our perfection, but humility, grace, and some grit. And we are allowed to enjoy the ride along the way.

Some special moments from the last couple weeks. I am honored and grateful to wear so many hats in our community. Teammate, shovel holder, advocate, cheerleader…but the most important will always be husband and dad.

Grateful to live in a free country, to serve a patriotic community, and to be surrounded by family and friends. May God continue to bless the United States of America and the many people who make our nation the best home on Earth while we enjoy this ride called life. Tend your garden and love your neighbor. 🇺🇸 🙏

Happy resurrection day! This journey is full of blessings. They are all around, if we pause and simply receive. Jesus died so that we can trust in an eternal life - an existence where joy shines on each moment. May you be fulfilled along your path. Heaven awaits!
