Located on our Kankakee Campus, Westwood features the nearby Kankakee River and surrounding trees, walking paths, and fields. Multiple levels of living are available at Westwood; a campus with stately homes, well-appointed apartments, and craftsman-style architecture.

We had such a fun time at our annual Chili Cook-off! A huge thank you to everyone who made a pot, tasted, and voted. The competition was tough, but our tastebuds have spoken!

Our residents have been super busy bringing all the autumn vibes to life! From turning everyday pictures into spooky Halloween masterpieces to creating vibrant fall chalk art and crafting the cutest acorn pumpkin patches, our art corner has been full of color and smiles!

Every project is so much more than just craft time—it’s a wonderful way for our residents to:
Strengthen fine motor skills
Spark creativity & imagination
Engage in cognitive processing
Support and cheer on one another every step of the way

There’s nothing quite like hitting the road on a crisp Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast! The gentlemen from Westwood headed out to Union Hill Cafe to jumpstart their weekend with good food and great company.

Halloween is right around the corner, and our famous Candy Monsters are officially HUNGRY! They’ve woken up from their year-long nap, set up camp around Westwood, and are waiting to be fed all your generous sweet treat donations for our upcoming Trick-or-Treat Event!

What a crazy coincidence! Miller Healthcare residents arrived at their "ghostly morning activity" to find that they as well as Brenda in activities were all wearing pumpkins! As for the ghosts, they aren't the ghoulish and scary ghosts you'd expect. These lil gals are adorable in their lacey outfits with flowered crowns!

🎃Pumpkin decorating is officially underway at Miller Healthcare!

Our residents brought their creativity (and plenty of sparkle and glitter!) to the table today, giving each pumpkin its own unique personality. From spooky little ghosties to dazzling masterpieces, the room was filled with laughter, color, and festive fall spirit.
