Michael Griffin Elementary PTA

The MGE School PTA is a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated parents, teachers and admini Michael L.

The MGE PTA works to support Griffin Elementary School in its quest to foster an outstanding environment for all students and staff. We are fortunate to have parent and grandparent volunteers who take part in activities such as our annual fundraiser-fair, Grizzfest; assist with lunchroom monitoring, promote a love of reading in our school Library and Literacy Library; handle workbasket and other classroom tasks for teachers; host celebratory events; lead Destination Imagination teams; and much, much more. PTA moms and dads installed the beautiful playground, raise funds for school projects, and assist teachers with special requests. Griffin PTA members also include many staff members for whom teaching Grizzlies is more than just a job -- but also a passion and a calling. Griffin, the school’s treasured namesake, and his wife Ada, regularly volunteer their time at school as well. With supportive leaders, administrators and teachers as their trail guides, the Griffin Grizzlies are sure to make tracks to excellence. We invite all those with a Griffin Grizzly in their lives to like this page and stay involved with our programs.

🚲❤️ E-Bike Safety: A Conversation That Could Save a Life

With the recent tragic e-bike accidents in our Katy community, the importance of educating our children about safe riding practices has never been greater.

As parents, we want our kids to enjoy their independence, but we also want to make sure they have the knowledge and tools to stay safe. ❤️

Join us Thursday, October 22, from 6:00–7:30 PM at the CRJH Cafeteria for an important E-Bike Safety Night!

Learn about proper safety gear, accident prevention, safe riding practices, local laws, and more from experienced professionals.

🍕 Free food and prize drawings!

You do NOT need to own an e-bike or scooter to attend! Parents and students accompanied by an adult are welcome.

💛 Our hearts are with the families who have been impacted by these tragedies. Let’s come together as a community to educate, protect, and look out for our kids.

📲 Scan the QR code to register. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Please share this with other Katy families. One conversation about safety could make all the difference.
