🌱 CONTACT vs. SYSTEMIC — What’s the difference? 🌱

Not all w**d control works the same way!

CONTACT herbicides work where the spray lands. They damage or kill the plant tissue they come in direct contact with, making thorough coverage especially important.

SYSTEMIC herbicides — like the products we use for w**d control — work differently. Once absorbed by the plant, the product moves throughout the plant to target the roots and other growing points. This allows us to treat the plant more completely rather than simply burning down the foliage you can see.

Robbers Cave State Park is one of those places where we’re proud to play a small part in keeping Oklahoma’s beautiful outdoor spaces looking their best. We sprayed to help control troublesome w**ds and keep visitors sticker-free while they enjoy everything this park has to offer. 🤎

Johnson grass is anything but harmless🌾

A lot of people think, “It’s just grass—just mow it or burn it off.” But invasive grasses like Johnson grass can be much more complicated than that. Mowing at the wrong time can spread mature seed, and fire is a management tool too—not something that is automatically harmless simply because it’s natural. 🔥

At Shuterra, we consider ourselves good stewards of the land. We live here. We raise our children here. We raise our livestock here. And we care about the safety of our friends, families, and neighbors who travel these roads every day.

Putting our drone to work in Pawnee County! 🚁

These hard-to-reach areas can be challenging for traditional spraying equipment, but our drone allows us to safely and efficiently treat vegetation where access is limited. Proud to be working with the city of Cleveland on this project! 🌿
