The First Annual New Years Resolution Run/Walk (3k and 5K). Get an early start on your New Years Resolutions by participating in this Run/Walk event that will be held on Saturday December 30th starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Richardson Community Center, 255 NE Coach Anders Lane, Lake City, Florida. Our NorthStar Family Resource Center is hosting a dedication event for the historic Richardson High School later this month! Join us as we honor the space which serves as our Resource Center home, as well as the high school which produced so many graduates, including the center’s own manager Dr. Phil Mobley!

"Remembering Richardson High School: A Historic Dedication" is a celebration of Richardson High School's official designation as a place of deep social and educational meaning in the African American community in Columbia County, Florida. The Richardson legacy persists to this day.
Through a ceremonial unveiling of a new monument, as well as music, visual storytelling, and tributes to classmates and teachers, this day will honor a historic site whose well-chronicled and significant contributions are long overdue.
