What a fantastic evening at LTVEC's 2023 Educator Awards Banquet. We had a wonderful time celebrating and honoring some of the best educators in East Tennessee. Thank you so much to the honorees, principals, school directors, and LTVEC board members who attended and made this a great event. Thank you to the Reserve at Bluebird Hill for a beautiful venue and Donna's Old Town Cafe for the delicious meal.

LTVEC intends to apply for TN Department of Education Lottery for Education After School Programs Grant. The application deadline is April 14, 2023. Our Extended Learning clubs love to spread kindness! Check out these Leaps students! They had a cake pop making competition. They were judged on consistency, aesetics, and completing 30 pops. They learned culinary, math,science, engineering, and teamwork skills. Now they are sharing on the Sunshine cart with all of the teachers and staff at LCES!

In honor of National Children's Dental Health Month, our dental hygiene clinic on the Oak Ridge campus is offering free teeth cleanings for kids! Patients must be age 4-12. These no-cost services are only available through the end of March, so make your appointment soon. Availability is limited and spots fill up quickly.
