Hard worker, who is willing to push mow, weedeat, rake leaves or take on whatever task necessary to get job done. Typically works 2 days per week, average 15 hours total. Bonuses are given for extra effort demonstrated.

To help load furniture onto moving truck. Will be paid 5 hour minimum.

Due to Emmanuel Baptist Church's scheduled VBS week, our July veteran's dinner has been cancelled. We will resume our monthly meals on Friday, Aug 17th at 6 PM. Please pass the word. The menu for 8/17 is tenderloin, parsley potatoes, shellie beans, baked apples, rolls, and dessert. Look forward to seeing everyone then!!

Due to an unexpected death in our church family, we will not be hosting the monthly veterans dinner in the month of June. Also, we will be cancelling our veterans dinner in the month of July as well due to the location not being available. We hope to see everyone when we resume in August! :)

May's veteran's dinner will be held Friday, May 18th at 6 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The menu for this month's dinner is beef stew, corn muffins, cole slaw and dessert. All veterans, active military men and women, and their families are cordially and warmly invited to attend. Please spread the word to all you know. You support of this ministry is greatly appreciated!!

This month's veteran's dinner and meeting will be held this Friday, February 16th. The menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, chips, and dessert. Darryl Hendricks will be the guest speaker. This meal and meeting is put together with love for sole purpose of honoring American veterans and their family members . Please share this information and invite every veteran you may know. We had our Christmas veteran's dinner of ham, sweet potato casserole, green beans, deviled eggs, rolls, and dessert tonight. Thank you Darryl Hendricks for agreeing to be our guest speaker.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Friday, Jan 18th at 6 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Our menu will be fried chicken, fried potatoes, steamed vegetable medley, and macaroni n cheese.

Tonight was this month's Thanksgiving Veteran's Dinner with turkey and all the trimmings. A word of appreciation is expressed to Michael Burleson for leading our devotional and sharing two beautifully performed songs! Thank you for always doing your best to say yes when we reach out to you!! Additional word of deep appreciation to Joyce Wilson for consistently providing delicious desserts for our guests to enjoy month after month at each dinner. Your dedication and service to our ministry leaves us speechless. Words will never be enough to repay your kindness!! Lastly, to our faithful daughters, Ashley Eldridge-Hickle and Amanda Sellars, we could not put these dinners together month after month without both of you. You help make dad's dream to honor worthy veterans through his ministry, which God has called him to carryout, a true reality. Thank you for your willingness to do whatever is needed. My heart is overcome with gratitude to our veterans and many others, but especially to God for His faithfulness and unfailing love.

A big shout out to Dr. Mark Hussung for the absolutely amazing piano presentation he shared with our ministry group of veterans and their families last Friday night!! David Eldridge and I thank you so very much for your accepting our invitation and for the tremendous effort you made with your God-given talent to make the evening so uplifting and memorable for the veterans who are so worthy!! Mark, you truly touched our hearts❤
