It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of AEMT Buford ‘Bo’ Cameron, who passed away Thursday. Bo had worked for Lifeguard Ambulance Service, AMR McMinn County and other EMS agencies through east Tennessee for over 17 years. Bo was an amazing individual and great friend to so many . He will greatly be missed.
Rest easy Bo, we have it from here.

Lifeguard Ambulance Service wants you to play it safe this holiday season. New toys and games can be fun, but they can also be dangerous if misused or fall into the hands of children too young to play with them. Remember these safety tips when purchasing or receiving toys and games this season.
Consider a child’s age when purchasing a toy or game – read warning labels to make sure it is age-appropriate
Check to make sure there aren’t any small parts or other potential choking hazards for young children
Look for points, edges or breakable parts that could be sharp and avoid those toys for children under eight
Include safety equipment when purchasing toys such as bicycles, skateboards or roller skates

December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, and Lifeguard Ambulance Service encourages you to drive smart and safe this month and always. As friends and family gather for the holiday season, please keep these tips in mind to ensure your loved ones make it home safe.
Do not drive while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medications that may cause impairment
Establish a designated driver before attending events and parties
Use a ride share service
Discuss the dangers of underage alcohol and substance abuse, especially when combined with operating motor vehicles, with young family members and friends
Arrange to drive youth to and from holiday activities, as they may find it difficult to decline a ride from a friend who is impaired
