Hey friends - go follow my girl Laura Scherr over at Notary Force in Franklin, TN!
Her old page got hacked so she's starting fresh - make sure you're following the right one.
Laura covers Franklin, Nashville, Brentwood and the surrounding areas. She's one of the few Tennessee RON notaries I actually refer work to without a second thought. When I send something her way, I know it's getting done right.
She also does wedding officiant services in the Franklin area, and she's currently putting together notary training for both traditional and online notaries - so if you're new to the business, keep an eye on her page.
Go give her a follow and show some love! 👇

Today marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day — June 6, 1944.
In the early hours of that morning, more than 156,000 Allied troops crossed the English Channel and stormed the beaches of Normandy.
Thousands never came home.
We remember them today — the young men who faced unimaginable fear and chose to go forward anyway. Their sacrifice helped turn the tide of World War II and changed the course of history.
To the veterans who served, to the families who waited, and to the fallen — we are forever grateful.
🕊️ Lest we forget.

🌿 World Environment Day feels like a good day to talk about something I genuinely love about RON.
Before remote online notarization, a loan package could mean 150+ pages printed and shipped overnight — sometimes twice if there were corrections. Now that same signing happens on a screen. No paper. No overnight shipping. No one driving across town.
I became one of Tennessee's first RON notaries in 2019, and I still think it's one of the best things to happen to this industry — for clients, for convenience, and honestly, for the planet too.
If you've never done a RON signing, I'd love to walk you through it.

📣 Tennessee Notaries, this resource is for you!
Whether you just received your commission or you’ve been a notary for years, I put together a Tennessee Notary Resources page with helpful information all in one place.
I created this because I see many of the same questions come up over and over:
✔️ Where can I find Tennessee notary laws?
✔️ How do I become a Remote Online Notary (RON)?
✔️ Where can I find Notarial Certificates for TN?
✔️ How can I market and grow my notary business?
✔️ How can tools like AI help me work smarter?
This page includes resources for:
✒️ Traditional Notaries
💻 Remote Online Notaries
🏡 Loan Signing Agents
📚 New notaries learning the basics
📄 Experienced notaries wanting a quick reference
🤖 AI for Notaries, including a guide I put together with ideas and prompts to help notaries use AI for marketing, content creation, SEO, organization, and growing their business
After 10+ years as a Tennessee Notary Public, being one of Tennessee’s early Remote Online Notaries, and completing thousands of notarizations, I’ve learned that having the right information and tools makes a huge difference.
My goal is simple: help raise the standard of the notary profession by making reliable resources easier to find.
Feel free to bookmark this page and share it with another Tennessee notary who may find it helpful. 😊

🎉 Hello, June! 🎉
This month is extra special because Tennessee turns 230!
June 1 is Tennessee Statehood Day. On this day in 1796, President George Washington signed the bill admitting Tennessee as the 16th state in the United States.
From the mountains to the valleys, it's a reminder of the history, growth, and communities that make this state home.
Here at Smoky Mountain Notary, I'm proud to serve Tennessee and be part of so many important moments, from real estate closings and estate planning signings to simple "Sign & Go" weddings.
Here's to a great month ahead and 230 years of Tennessee! ❤️🤍💙

Oliver was absolutely personally offended by the porch restrictions 😂
“Excuse me, human… I pay zero bills here but I still deserve outdoor privileges.”
This sweet orange guy was trying his best to convince his people to let him out on the porch during today’s closing. I caught him right in the middle of a dramatic protest/yawn combo and honestly… same energy as all of us when someone says “just one more signature.” 🐾
