Tonight members of LaFayette VFD and a couple of Herndon VFD Junior Firefighters were taught by Ky State Fire District 4 about Firefighting Foam and how to apply it. LaFayette VFD strives to provide the best services for our community by continuing to train.
We do apologize for the low water pressure this evening while we refilled our water tank on the firetruck.

We would like to thank everyone that supported us at our fish fry! Thank you to those that made donations, the candidates, and everyone that helped prepare, cook, serve, and clean up.
We greatly appreciate everyone taking time to help us raise money for some much needed new equipment to better serve our communities!

We have just received an email from ISO (insurance service office) telling us that LaFayette VFD will remain a 6/6x rating. Our members have worked hard over the past year making improvements to keep this rating. This means that our Department continues to try and help keep your insurance premiums down.

Come out and help raise funds for LaFayette VFD and Herndon VFD by buying a fish dinner and bidding on some silent auction items. You can also meet some of the local candidates that are running for offices.

Tonight members of LaFayette VFD and a member of Herndon VFD received training over American Heart Association CPR from Hopkinsville Fire Department Paramedic Melinda Young. We learned how to perform quality CPR if the need arises in our community.
