Help us put books into the hands of children! 📖✨

Did you know? 🤔 Regular reading time with young children is linked to reduced hyperactivity, fewer attention difficulties, and lower aggression. Reading can make a BIG difference in a child's life! 💛

Educators Rising is hosting a Children's Book Drive, and we need YOUR help! 🫶

📚 What can you donate? All NEW and GENTLY USED children's books are welcome!

¡Qué éxito! 🎉 Yesterday was the Spanish Club’s first group cooking lab, and it was a blast! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our students didn't just cook—they danced, laughed, and brought so much energy to the kitchen. From delicious Chicken fajitas to amazing moves, it was a huge success from start to finish! 💃🕺✨

🎉 Celebrating 250 Years of American History! 🎉

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, our APUSH students have been hard at work bringing history to life! 📚✨

📸 Featured Project: Revolutionary Trading Cards!
Students recently completed their American Revolution Trading Cards, creating either Pokémon- or baseball-style cards featuring important facts and the historical impact of both well-known and lesser-known figures of the Revolution. These creative projects highlight the people who helped shape our nation's history!

🎃 Bonus Points in the Background!
You may also spot some colorful pumpkins in the background! These are part of an optional bonus-point assignment where students paint a pumpkin to represent a major event we've studied in APUSH so far this school year.

We're proud of our students for combining creativity, research, and historical thinking as we honor this important milestone in our nation's story! ❤️🤍💙

🥇 Acadiana Sports Network Runner of the Week

🏆 LAmileSplit Player of the Week — Thank you to everyone who voted and helped make this happen! 🙌❤️

📈 #1 in the State in Division II and #4 Overall Among All Runners in Louisiana!

And if that wasn’t enough, Emerson ran a 14:49 3-mile on Saturday, setting a NEW PR! 🔥⏱️

The dedication, discipline, and hard work are paying off, and we couldn’t be prouder! The best part is watching him continue to grow and chase his goals. Keep pushing, Emerson! The sky is the limit! 🚀🏃‍♂️
