This picture speaks a thousand words. It’s not about boasting or taking credit, but about showing what happens when a mama leans on her village. As a community, we come together, show up, and make sure she knows she is not alone.

We are so grateful to be able to serve, pour into our families, and be a part of making a difference in the lives of mothers and their little ones. This is what community looks like. This is what it means to be the village. It takes all of us, and together, we can do so much more than we could ever do alone. 💚✨

Hey family! As the weeks are closing in for mama, we are asking for one last round of donations to help provide her with everything she needs for herself and her baby boy.

She is in need of clothes, diapers of all sizes (no particular brand), wipes, and anything else that could contribute to her journey into motherhood.

The last day to contribute will be October 14, 2026, and we hope we can all come together as a village to support mama on this beautiful journey. It takes a village, and together, we can make a difference! 🤎

Hey Village Family! 💚

We have a mama whose due date is approaching very soon, and we want to make sure she and her little one are surrounded by the support they deserve!

We are currently collecting diapers, wipes, and any baby or postpartum essentials you would be willing to donate. Every pack, every item, and every contribution makes a difference.

This is what being the Village is all about! It truly takes a Village, and right now, we have an opportunity to show up for one of our own.

We just want to take a moment to thank you all for the love and support we have been receiving. We truly could not be more grateful for everything you all have been pouring into us and The Village Community Baby Shower.

✨ What Did You Miss? ✨

On June 27, 2026, my partner and I hosted our very first FREE Community Baby Shower right here in Lancaster, creating a village of support for families who need a helping hand.

Who were the hosts?
Hosted by Shatee’Ja Harris & Beverly Black, bringing together our passion for birth work, community care, and supporting families.

What did we provide?
Essential items and resources including:
Diapers • Wipes • Formula • Bottles • Baby Clothes (0–12+) • Postpartum Items • Toys • Books • Car Seats • Strollers • Educational Resources + More

Who were the people in the gray Village shirts?
Our amazing volunteers! These incredible individuals showed up with love, time, and dedication to help make this event possible. Our village would not have been complete without them.

When will the next baby shower be, and how can you volunteer?

FREE FORMULA ‼️‼️

We currently have infant formula available that we would like to donate to families in need. If you are interested, please send us a message, and we will be happy to assist you.

Please keep in mind that donations are available on a first come, first served basis, and we would like all of the formula to be gone by Friday. 💚✨
