Staggered start dates for kindergarten students begin next week. A non-attendance day is set for Monday, August 29, followed by three days of Kindergarten Readiness Assessments, and the first full day of class on Friday, September 2nd.

The new school year is just around the corner and Franklin County is here to help your family prepare! We're excited to announce the launch of our new Back To School Initiative, which offers $750 in one-time assistance to help eligible families cover the costs of backpacks, school supplies, new clothes -- whatever your kiddos need to start the school year off right!
Funding is made possible with the support of the County Board of Commissioners! This is a limited-time initiative, running today through Aug. 12 or until funding is exhausted!
