Anthony Pyne was Honored by the Department of Defense for Guard and Reserve Employer Support

HENDERSON (3/13/2024) – Anthony Pyne, Master at Core Fitness and Martial Arts, received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve "Patriot Award" this year for the extraordinary support provided to employee SFC Christopher Mills, Army National Guard. The award was presented by NV ESGR volunteer Rex Miller.

The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said NV ESGR State Chair Rex Miller. “Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.

National Guard and Reserve members bring tremendous skills and capabilities to our workforce, and employer support for their military service is critical to maintaining the strength of our Guard and Reserve units,” said NV ESGR State Vice-Chair James Walker. “By valuing the military service of their Guard and Reserve employees, employers are directly supporting the readiness and retention of our All-Volunteer Force, and our national defense.”

ESGR is a Department of Defense program that develops and promotes supportive work environments for service members in the National Guard and Reserve through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws. Kaitlyn Modina was Honored by the Department of Defense for Guard and Reserve Employer Support

SPARKS (4/5/2024) – Kaitlyn Modina, supervisor at Wingfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve "Patriot Award" this year for the extraordinary support provided to employee SPC Sam Meguillo, Army National Guard. Ms. Modina also signed the DoD ESGR "Statement of Support." The award was presented by NV ESGR volunteers Fred Barton, Johnny Skowronek, and Jeff Spencer.
