I am so emotional right now. I got to spend last week with my grand babies! It was Amazing! While here, my sweet granddaughter went through our old, relic albums and picked a few out to keep. Well, she chose to take my “Heart” album, which happened to be my very first album I bought way back in high school and last night my sweet granddaughter played the album on her very first record player. I mean I just can’t 🥲. What a wonderful feeling. Love and music. Is there anything else?

We had a wonderful time visiting Monument Valley. A very beautiful and sacred place. We were able to get off the grid, unplug and enjoy a few days of total bliss. This is retirement 🙌

Words of wisdom
It’s not always going to be easy, but that’s life. We may lose love, family or friends but stay strong, have faith and know better days are ahead.

One look at their expression, and you realize that telling someone who is obviously upset to calm down isn’t exactly what they want to hear. In fact, you may have just thrown a little fuel on their already-roaring fire. “Calm down? Calm down? Don’t tell me to calm down!” they practically yell.
Even though your intentions came from a helpful place, you’ve learned the hard way that telling someone to calm down when they are pretty upset usually fuels the fire.
Some things you could say or do instead: 👇
Show You’re Listening When someone is that upset or in that much pain during a bad day, what they really want is to be heard. Let them know you’re there for them and really listen to them. Empathize, let them know you understand and share their pain. Offer to help or ask if there is anything you can do for them. Breathing techniques have been proven to help dissipate stress and restore calm to our bodies. After they’ve vented, say, “Let’s take three deep breaths together.”
The point is to offer to work with them to get over the bad-day stress and let them know you care.

Make your Sunday a rest day not a stress day. Refuel for the coming week.

Ok guys who can relate here 🙋♀️. Who has not ever had stresslaxing?? Being so stressed that relaxing actually makes you more stressed because you’re not working on the thing or things that are making you stressed in the first place 🤷♀️
