Congressman Jamie Raskin will appear before the House Ethics Committee to answer allegations that he's been voting by proxy for Maxine Waters, who nobody has seen in person in months.

Under House Rule 607 Part C, no member shall cast a vote for another without first registering an illness or disability with the Sergeant at Arms.

Because the Democrats are denying there's anything wrong with Waters, the votes he's casting for her are invalid, and he can be held accountable with disciplinary measures.

The last Democrat to be caught proxy voting was Idaho's Joe Barron, who lost his committee assignments and his next election.

Hearings begin early in the week.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In what is being hailed as the most based act of private-sector heroism since Jesus fed the 5,000 with two fish and a loaf of bread, Elon Musk announced he would personally cover the salaries of every TSA agent currently being held hostage in Chuck Schumer’s sadistic funding standoff.

Sources close to the situation confirm Schumer has been cackling maniacally for weeks, reportedly twirling his mustache and muttering, “Let them eat cake… or whatever’s left after I’m done defunding the border and funding the illegals.” One anonymous TSA officer described the ordeal as “less like a government shutdown and more like being waterboarded with progressive tears.”
Democrats, meanwhile, called Musk’s offer “dangerous billionaire interference” and demanded he be investigated by the same committee that still hasn’t found Hunter Biden’s laptop. Schumer’s office released a statement saying only, “We will not be bullied by rich people who actually solve problems.”
