The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Intergovernmental & External Affairs (IEA) announces the appointment of Victoria Seaman as Regional Director for the HHS Denver Regional Office. Regional Director Seaman will act as the Department’s liaison to state, local, and tribal governments and non-governmental organizations across Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.

Regional Director Seaman joins the administration following six years of service as Las Vegas City Councilwoman for Ward 2. During her tenure, she championed numerous initiatives to improve the health, safety, and quality of life for her constituents, including:

*Breaking ground on a new state-of-the-art aquatic center
*Upgrading and improving all Ward 2 parks
*Leading the passage of animal protection ordinances to ensure stronger safeguards for animals
*Increasing penalties for illegal fireworks to protect neighborhoods and public safety
*Resolving the long-standing Badlands litigation, providing the city with a clear path forward

“It has been my distinct honor to serve the people of Ward 2 for the past six years,” said Regional Director Seaman. “While it is with a heavy heart that I step down from the City Council, I am deeply honored to continue my public service under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Kennedy. I look forward to carrying out HHS’ mission and advancing the Make America Healthy Again agenda across Region 8.”

We had another successful Breakfast Buzz and Ward 2 Biz! It is always a pleasure to connect with constituents and address their concerns.
