Now that we are a little more rested after the Founders Weekend, the Lee Police Department would like to express our sincere gratitude.

This past weekend truly put the meaning of COMMUNITY on full display. From the Friday night festivities and the parade to all of the activities at the Lee Athletic Field, it was incredible to see everyone out having a great time. Thank you to everyone who attended!

An even bigger thank you goes out to the incredible people who planned, supported, and executed these events behind the scenes:
* 🙌 The Volunteers
* 🚑 Emergency Services
* 📋 Event Coordinators
* 🚜 Public Works Departments
* 🎪 Our Local Vendors

This weekend wouldn't be possible without everyone working together. Thank you, Lee!

Today, the Lee Police Department pauses to remember the innocent lives lost and the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We remember the courage of the first responders and everyday citizens who ran toward danger to help others.

In the days that followed, our country came together like never before. Neighbors helped neighbors, communities stood together, and differences were put aside.

Twenty-five years later, that unity still matters. May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength we have when we stand together. 🇺🇸

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL SAFETY REMINDER 🏫

With summer winding down, the Lee Police Department wants to remind all residents that school is back in session next week. Our roads will be much busier with students walking, riding bikes, and boarding school buses.

Let’s work together as a community to keep our kids safe this year. Officers will be out conducting extra patrols and enforcing speed limits in school zones. Have a wonderful school year!
