Elect Reggie Watson ONE AND ONLY OFFICIAL PAGE - Crime in Harnett County isn’t out of control, but trust is.

And when trust breaks down between law enforcement and the community, everybody loses. That’s why I’m running — to restore leadership, training, and accountability.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

I will prepare for emergencies with training and planning that makes all the difference before a crisis happens. Whether it's severe weather, a major accident, or another emergency, agencies must work together and be prepared before they're needed.

WORKING WITH OTHER AGENCIES

I will cooperate with state and federal agencies. Public safety is strongest when agencies work together professionally and within the law. My focus has always been cooperation, communication, and d**g what's best for the people of Harnett County.

DEPUTY RECRUITMENT & RETENTION

I will recruit and keep good deputies that want good leadership. My goal is to build a professional culture where deputies receive quality training, support, opportunities to grow, and know they'll be treated fairly. When leadership improves, recruitment and retention improve.

MY VISION FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS

Success is a Sheriff's Office where citizens have confidence in their deputies, deputies are proud of their leadership, and Harnett County is safer because of the relationships we've built together. That's the legacy I hope to leave.

RURAL PATROL

Rural areas don't get enough coverage, whether you live in lillington or the furthest corner of the county, you deserve the same level of protection. Everyone pays taxes. Everyone deserves good service.

TECHNOLOGY & CYBERCRIME

Crime continues to evolve, and law enforcement must evolve with it. We need to make sure deputies have access to the training and technology necessary to investigate modern crimes while protecting citizens from fraud and online exploitation.

JAIL OPERATIONS

The leadership in our jail needs change. Deputies deserve good leadership, and inmates deserve to be treated according to the law. When leadership is strong, accountability follows.
