When should a parent be concerned that “it’s just a phase” might be something more?

Teenagers go through changes—but when changes in mood, behavior, sleep, friendships, school, or overall well-being last or seem out of character, it may be time to check in.

You don't have to know exactly what to say or how to fix it. Start with a conversation. Listen. Let them know you're there.

Our Parent Resource Card can help you recognize signs that a young person may be struggling and connect you with local supports and trusted resources.

Scan the QR code to learn more.

Early support matters. And sometimes, one small conversation can make a big difference.

🌟 WISE is happening at Our Daily Bread! 🌟

Emily and Diane are bringing the WISE (Wellness Initiative for Senior Education) program to Our Daily Bread in Lima throughout the month of October! 💙

They’ll be there Tuesdays and Thursdays, sharing practical information, helpful resources, and plenty of conversation about ways to support wellness and healthy living as we age.

WISE is about more than information—it’s about connecting, learning, asking questions, and taking small steps toward a healthier, happier life. 😊

We’re grateful to Our Daily Bread for providing a welcoming space for these important conversations!

The Morrow County DAAP Coalition, partnering with the Ark of Hope Church, made local resources and prescription medication overdose prevention information available to Hidden Lakes residents, a Mt. Gilead community. Information was packed in hygiene kits for adults, and kid-friendly lunch boxes with fun toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash and bandages for the children. A total of 650 kits were transported to the church location on the site. Thanks to Pastor John McFarland for helping in coordinating the distribution!

💙 Find Your Anchor: A Little Reminder That You’re Not Alone 💙

We’re excited to continue our Find Your Anchor Box series by sharing another box making its way into our community!

Coalition member Joann Rosengarten recently placed a Find Your Anchor Box at Bluffton University, creating a space where students and others in the campus community can find a little encouragement, hope, and connection when they need it.

Each Find Your Anchor Box contains small reminders that you matter, you are not alone, and there is help available. Sometimes, a simple message of hope can make a difference in someone’s day. 💙

Thank you, Joann, for helping us spread these messages throughout our community!

📍 Find Your Anchor Boxes are being placed in locations throughout Allen, Auglaize & Hardin Counties.
