Actress Olivia Wilde once wrote that she despised Donald Trump "with all my guts," and the words are circulating on social media again.
The line comes from an Instagram post Wilde shared on August 23, 2017. Her full sentence read: "I despise Donald Trump with all my guts, and his speech last night only confirmed what a pathetic, petulant, dishonest pig he is."
The speech she was reacting to was Trump's rally in Phoenix, Arizona, on August 22, 2017. Much of that speech was spent attacking the news media over its coverage of the events in Charlottesville.
The graphic now being shared cuts the middle out of her sentence and leaves off the date. That makes a post from nine years ago look like something she said this week.
Wilde has been open about her politics for a long time. She spoke out against Trump before the 2016 election and joined a protest outside Trump Tower in New York in 2017.
She is known for acting in "House" and "Tron: Legacy," and for directing "Booksmart" and "Don't Worry Darling."
