The College World Series is the Greatest Show on Dirt, but sadly like many major events it brings a small number of bad actors who come for prostitution and human trafficking. Each year, law enforcement has been extraordinarily vigilant in finding these predators and holding them accountable.

On Monday I will join our city, county, state, and federal law enforcement and prosecution partners to discuss the strong enforcement posture we will have against human trafficking in the coming weeks.

If you come into Nebraska to prey on others, we will hunt you down and bring you to justice.

In the digital age, data is power.

I’m committed to ensuring that Nebraska farmers own and control their data so that corporations, advertisers, and others don’t unfairly profit off their fields, their crops, their livestock, and their toil.

That’s why I’m particularly honored to sign LB525— the Nation’s first Ag Data Privacy Act—into law.

In Nebraska, farmers and ranchers take priority over Big Data.

I am grateful for this tremendous investment by our federal partners and honored to be part of announcing these federal resources coming to our state.

Water, and water infrastructure that ensures its quality, are critical to Nebraska’s prosperity. Protecting our water quality and quantity have been top priorities since my first day in office, and they will continue to be.💧

Pillen celebrates law boosting private energy help in public power state, pushes for more AI growth • Nebraska Examiner 06/05/2026

Nebraska has historically enjoyed the most affordable and reliable power grid in America.

With this groundbreaking legislation, we are ensuring that our great public power system can enter into the partnerships necessary to maintain that affordability and reliability.

Energy abundance is energy dominance, and energy dominance is the foundation of economic prosperity. We will continue to fight to provide plentiful and cheap power for Nebraska families and businesses.

This is a great decision out of Nebraska’s federal district court and long overdue. Thanks to President Donald J. Trump, The United States Department of Justice and the Office of the Nebraska Attorney General for their work to get this issue the focus it deserved.

Secretary Rollins and her team have been laser-focused on New World Screwworm from the outset. Her strong and aggressive efforts almost certainly prevented an earlier detection on our side of the border.

I applaud the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s swift action and engagement with state authorities following the detection in South Texas.

Nebraska ranchers and feeders can be confident that we are in constant touch with our federal partners to take the necessary steps to keep our cattle herd secure and our food supply safe. My office and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture will have further updates soon.

Nebraska values matter to the people of our state.

Today, I signed a proclamation recognizing June as Marriage and Family Month in Nebraska.

This is an opportunity to celebrate moms, dads, kids — and the strong families that serve as the backbone of our state and nation.

We will continue to stand up for Nebraska values and support families.
