Last week, UNL's Global Brigades Chapter traveled to East Panama for their first Business Brigade! They worked in the community of Ipetí Embera providing farm inventory, profit projections, financial recommendations, and marketing material for a community farm. They also worked along side students from Indiana University's Environmental Chapter to clear land and plant Yuca. Finally, they experienced the Embera culture through a cultural exchange with the community which demonstrated dances, inking, food, and crafts. What an amazing week for Ipetí Embera and the students from UNL!
