The next one is today from 2:30 to 3:30pm at Loren Eiseley Library near N. 15th and Superior.

It’s permanent! Brand new beautiful concrete is already going in on 14th Street just north and south of O Street. 🥰
This concrete design is unique and will have mountable curbs that will slowly raise to meet the sidewalks for easy and safe walking. Small design touches like this continue to make the downtown area even more pedestrian friendly.
All sidewalks and businesses are open. Come check out the progress for yourself and stay awhile. 🍕🍔🌮🥗

Just like a good bullpen saves the game, Haymarket Park holds stormwater during heavy rains to prevent flooding. Help protect our floodplains by keeping them clean. Never pour anything down a storm drain. It flows straight to our lakes and streams. ⚾🌧️

The results are in. Holmes Lake looks even more beautiful than it did this morning with the help of some dedicated volunteers who were willing to spend a couple of hours picking up trash with our Lincoln Stormwater Management division.
24 volunteers came out to help fill 11 bags of trash!
Thank you to our community members who continue to step up and keep Lincoln beautiful. ❤️ 🚮
