This week is CVSA's Operation Airbrake: Brake Safety Week. Out-of-adjustment brakes and brake-system violations combine to represent half of all out-of-service violations issued for commercial motor vehicles on the road.

Debris falling from trailers can create dangerous conditions for everyone on the road. Arkansas law prohibits cargo from dropping, sifting, leaking, or otherwise escaping from a vehicle or trailer.
