Always learning something new when attending the New York State Association of Counties(NYSAC). I am a member of the State Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Relations, which kicked off my day on Monday. Followed by 5 sessions on issues facing Counties for the remainder of the day and all day Tuesday. Treated to a great event at the Syracuse University Miron Victory Dome(formerly the Carrier) by host Onondaga County. Finishing off the conference with a NYSAC InterCounty Meeting first thing in the morning. Pictured with Legislators Abbott, McKimmie, Casale and Gooch

The Niagara County Department of Public Works (DPW) today announced that the Feigle-Fisk Rd Bridge over the Erie Canal in the Town of Pendleton is now open. The bridge has been closed since early July as part of a $390K rehabilitation project that was done in two phases.

Last year, work focused on concrete deck repairs. This year, the fascia was repaired and thin polymer overlay was applied to the bridge deck. The work was performed by Hunting Valley Construction.
