I hope this email finds you well! My name is Rio, and I’m reaching out on behalf of CicLAvia, a non-profit bringing car-free streets to local communities. Our final event of the year, CicLAvia—The Valley, is happening Sunday, December 8th from 9 am to 3 pm, and we’d love for you to join us and help spread the word!

For this event, 5 miles of Sherman Way (connecting Canoga Park, Winnetka, and Reseda) will be car-free, creating a safe, open space for people to walk, bike, skate, roll, or run. The event is free and open to all!

Hi All! 1st post but it’s urgent! Mom and pop shops are special and unfortunately after 40+ years serving West Hills and the surrounding communities: West End Gallery & Custom Framing down on Sherman Way might close!!

Jim and Pivey are a loving married couple who pour 6-7 days a week into their business. Open 5 days a week.

Sadly, due to online framing websites and big stores like Michael’s offering “50% off” (which is really not a genuine discount) for framing and due to their age — it has been hard for them to adapt to the digital age and leads and new customers have dwindled.

Their framing skills are exceptional and the turn around time has been fast with prices cheaper than Michael’s and many online sites!!

They have a 5/5 star review on Google and live in the West Hills community. Let us show support!! I have had 4 different works of art framed by them and they’ve been exceptionally done - pieces I wouldn’t trust an online retailer to handle or novice framer.

Good Morning Canoga Park/West Hills. We are very excited to announce that we have merged with the Chatsworth/ Porter Ranch Chamber of Chatsworth Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce.
A memorandum of understanding has been signed
between the Chatsworth-Porter Ranch Chamber and the Canoga
Park-West Hills Chamber. Starting September 1st, 2024.

The Canoga Park/West Hills Chamber of Commerce was
established in 1912 soon after the Los Angeles Aqueduct was
completed to work with the government, businesses, and
community. As an “All-American City,”

Canoga Park and the chamber are known for its annual Memorial
Day Parade, Dia de Los Mu***os celebration, and Walk of Hearts
teacher honors.

From fighting overseas and protecting our freedoms to providing natural disaster relief and bringing medical assistance to impoverished communities, their patriotism and service remind us of our shared values of duty, honor, and responsibility to our country.
