On Saturday 7/24/2021, LAPD Mission Division hosted a Memorial Bike ride for LAPD Officer Val Martinez and PSR Raymond Guerrero. Topanga Division Volunteers assisted with setting up at Communications Division where riders came for water, snacks, pictures and received a message from Chief Moore. This event was a huge success and I would like to take the time to thank all the Topanga Volunteers who assisted. I appreciate you! 💙

Topanga Division had a Fourth of July Volunteer Taskforce. We had 5 VCP (Volunteer Community Patrol) vehicles out patrolling the Division looking for illegal fireworks within our neighborhoods. It is truly an amazing group of Volunteers who dedicated their holiday to give back to the community they live in. Thank you Topanga Volunteers/ CPAB. Topanga Division appreciates you!

Last Friday, Topanga VCP (Volunteer Community Patrol) conducted RADAR on Valley Circle and Vanowen. Not only were they captured on "WAZE" the direction app but it was for all the right reasons. Their presence amongst the community alerted drivers to slow down! Thank you VCP for all the proactive work you continue to do for the Topanga Area to make our streets safer!

Our RADAR Wednesday group on Valley Circle and Mariano! Great job Volunteers.
On RADAR Wednesday's, Topanga Volunteers assist LAPD Officers in catching speeding vehicles. A notice gets sent out to the driver to remind them to slow down and drive safe. Studies have shown that RADAR Wednesday helps in intersections that previously had a high number of traffic collisions. We are proactively working with the community to have safer streets!

Taskforce Day with Topanga Volunteers!
On this day, these Volunteers assisted Topanga Senior Lead Officers, Patrol Officers, Motor Officers and Reserves Officers with making a presence on Valley Circle between Roscoe and Mulholland. With speed, racing and reckless driving in this area, LAPD Topanga Volunteers were there to slow down drivers and make that stretch of road a safer place. Great Taskforce everyone!
