The ongoing hunger strike of Ladakhi climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has reached a critical juncture on its 18th day. With his health rapidly deteriorating, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Delhi High Court.
The petition flags that Wangchuk’s life is in grave danger and urgently demands that he be hospitalized immediately to receive life-saving medical care. All eyes are now on the High Court's upcoming hearing and the subsequent action from the authorities.
