When you feel defeated, when you feel like giving up is when you need to lean on your faith even more...not less. God is in charge of all things. He is real, he will sustain you and ultimately reward your faith.

Every once in awhile, I will have a thought come to me that I want to share. When people speak of the God talking to you, it is actually quite simple. When you receive thoughts, they come from the Holy Spirit. And when I receive messages like this I want to share them. Most of us in life experience downfalls. We experience disappointments, that is what life here on earth is. When people say Satan is in your life, most people will get insulted. What is there to be insulted about? If we believe in God, we must believe in Satan. He is evil and he is out to destroy. In I Peter 5:8 it says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." What does that say to you?
Anything good in life, that God has created.. Satan is out to destroy... so instead of questioning God, why your life is horrible, or why you are sick, or why is this happening to you, the answer is quite simple. It's because Satan is trying to destroy God's good work. Don't be insulted or ignore that the evil exists, because it does exist. And it always has and it always will.
Instead of asking yourself why is this happening to me. Realize who it's coming from and you will see the difference in your life.
Satan will never, prey on your strengths, he will prey on your weakness. For some it is alcohol or drugs, for some it is money, for some insecurities. Whatever the weakness is, he will find it and exploit it.
You must realize the following. We reap what we sow, our thoughts are the beginning of any seed we sow. Our thoughts are the pre requisite to any action, whether it be constructive or destructive. (Christ = Constructive ...... Devil = Destructive.) The fact is, we will reap what we sow. If we sow destructive thoughts, that is what we will reap. If we stay positive and try to focus on what is good, and what we can do for good, then we will see miraculous turn arounds. And I don't mean by money. I mean by happiness.
Sometimes, I will sit around and think deeply about life. I have experienced extreme sadness and disappointment and it is not an accident that when I found Christ in 2008, everything in my life changed. It was not an accident that once I started to attend Openwater Church with my Pastor David Towner giving me some unforgettable guidance... and reading the Bible and doing Bible Studies, did I get the understanding of how this all works.
I have changed the way I think, I have changed the way I approach things, and how I handle disappointments. As time goes on, I see how God works and it hasn't changed ever. Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
It doesn't change... you can read any religious book or new age book such as "The Secret" , "The Law of Attraction" etc etc. The bottom line is, God is God, He is "I am" It doesn't change. The Bible is our instruction guide to life everlasting.
We all need reminders from time to time. As before I wrote this, I was sitting in bed all day, feeling depressed myself. It would have been my mom and Dad's 49th wedding anniversary today. The weather is dreary and I have just been down in the dumps. When this thought came to me.
The message I received was this James 4:7, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." When you recognize that Satan is in your life trying to destroy, it makes life that much easier. So, Trust in God, don't feel like he is not listening. Don't feel like he has done something to you. You have free will, and I choose to trust in him and not worry. Because, he will always prevail and always take care of you.
Matthew 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
You can bet you are.... we all have what it takes to live a happy life and if we are not happy, it is because we are allowing the ultimate thief rob us of it.
God Bless you and I hope I have touched someone out there today. I am sure I did, because I know I received this though for a reason.
I have had a lot of questions lately about God and none of us or exempt from Trails, but.... my life is better with God in it and I always have to remember to look to him for strength. As hard as life can be sometimes, you have to know that God is only trying to do good in your life. And when things happen that seem confusing, it is not God doing it. I Corinthians 14:33 says, "For God is not the author of confusion but of peace" And I Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" James 1:17, "very good gift and every perfect gift is from above" Sometimes we forget what we have or we want to disregard the good in our life because it may not be perfect. Sometimes a Flower needs to be nurtured and when disregarded it will wither. Be grateful for the things God has given us and don't be so quick to give up on what God intended for good.
I was going through some old notes and I had made this not to myself on a plane almost 3 years ago. It was something that came to me and I just felt compelled to share this today.

God told Moses to Go! Moses went.....
God told me to go and I went
When we listen to those thoughts from God and follow we can not go wrong.
Faith is like begining to work out or anything that is new. Even like being born again.
God never said it would be easy, just worth it.
Simple common sense tells us the when you start something, there is going to be tough times, learning, practicing, aches and pains. Many times we want to give up and say it is not worth it, or we feel like we are spinning our wheels,
When in fact, the longer we stick to it the better and more successful we get.
When we compete, and we win, sometimes we just show up.... and then we get humbled.
But, when we look to God is when we really win.
Winning is not everything and sometimes losing is winning.
If we never lost, we would not have growth. If we walked around winning all of the time, we would get over confident and fall mightily like Golliath.
Or we will always be looking over our shoulder knowing that loss will be coming soon and the pressure mounts each time.
But, when we are ready, prepared and always trying to improve, that is when We become more successful.
If you lose ask what God is trying to reveal to you. Find out what he is trying to say.
where can you grow? Where can you get better.
The truth is always better then the unknown,
even if it hurts, true growth and benefit comes
from knowing.
Be patient and you will see the fruit of your patience
We all have our time and God's Plan is perfect.

This is an awesome Scripture and should make you evaluate the company you keep. Also should remind you that your walk with God should be a daily routine. To meditate on his word day and night. The closer you get to God, the more you will see your life improve. If you doubt me, take this challenge and recite this scripture to yourself twice a day for the next 30 days and let me know what happens in your life.
Psalm 1
New King James Version (NKJV)
BOOK ONE: Psalms 1—41
The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

How Much Faith do you have? Mine seems small compared to The Bible. In Genesis 22:1-19, God Asks Abraham to sacrifice his only son. (I couldn't even imagine) In a leep of Faith Abraham obeys God and as he is raising his knife to sacrifice his only son Isaac. God yells out and tells him to stop. Then in the ultimate sacrifice God gave his only begotten son Jesus to the world so we can have everlasting life. (John 3:16) On the cross Jesus yelled out, "Why have you forsaken me?" Yet 3 days later he rose again! Each and everyday we walk around and doubt. We worry, We walk in fear! What can we trust in now? It may not always be what we want, but when we are guided by him and don't resist him and exercise a little faith, magical things happen. Imagine if you begin to really have faith what can happen in your life. God is ever present, even if you don't believe it. His arms are always open wide! Happy Easter! God Bless you!

Always remember to try and be a doer of the word. (James 1:22) So often in life we judge people too quickly, or we listen to someone's gossip about someone. Which influences how we feel about that person. We also, tend to just cease communication from that person and never talk to them again. Has this ever happened to you? You never know the value that person has or why God even put them into your life to begin with. Don't be so quick to discard someone. You just never know, what God intended them for in your life.
"You shall not go up and down as a dispenser of gossip and scandal among your people, nor shall you [secure yourself by false testimony or by silence and] endanger the life of your neighbor. I am the Lord." Leviticus 19: 16
Let's remember, we are not perfect... so don't be so quick to shut someone off from your life who may have value.
Do not live your life in fear! I am appalled at life long Christians who are supposed to be an example of Christ yet they false prophesize about the coming of Christ and the end of the world. That is terrorism as far as I am concerned & Christ is not about living in fear. Jesus' own words in Mark 13:32 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Father we pray for the weak. We pray for you to cover their inequities.
