LA-RICS thanks the state of CA, and Assemblyman Tom Lackey w/ Senator Maria Elena Durazo, for providing $18.6 million to our project. Your support will help us complete a radio system that will cover 4,000+sq miles w/58 sites. We are currently in testing/optimization!

The old radio tower, still functioning, is on the right. The new radio tower, belonging to LA-RICS, is on the left. We’re building bigger. We’re building better.

We built a radio tower near an old missile silo. Because how cool is that? Also, because it was the best vantage point for promoting interoperable frequencies. But missile silo!
