My dander was at an all-time high from this article about age bias in Communications by Mark Schumann. I have never responded to a post so quickly.
Susan San Martin says: April 25, 2011 at 2:47 pm Mark: I don’t think I have ever been. Just how old was the executive search consultant? Key variable here. If he’s in his 50s he’s blown his age arbitrary criterion. The market is flush with experienced pros who’d make him a great comm director. I think his theory is unfounded and perhaps illegal.
