Donors will receive a voucher for a free book at the Friends of the Library Book Store, and an exclusive Shark Week shirt from Discovery, while supplies last!
Come join us this weekend to see internationally recognized Dance Artist and Cultural Ethnologist, Kimberly Miguel Mullen. She will present her interactive Afro-Brazilian Cultural Dance performance, “Legends of Brazil”.
She will perform mythological stories and legends of the Afro-Brazilian deities called Orixas through music, dance, storytelling and songs. Her presentation also includes audio and visual excerpts set to a mix of Brazilian Samba and Folkloric music, along with a display of unique and creative dolls from Brazil.
