Come to the 2026 Del Rey Tree Adoption event on Saturday, April 18, 9am-12pm at Marina Del Rey Middle School! Stop by to pick up some FREE trees for your yard! We’re also giving away free mulch, free food, and will have a resource fair. There will also live music from the Del Rey Jazz Band! Arrive early to get the best tree selection. Must be a City of LA homeowner. Hope to see you there! 🌳🎸🥙☀️🌲🎺🌎

On Sunday, DRNC board members and other Del Rey community leaders were invited to a host an informal house meeting with . Mayor Bass spent over 1.5 hours taking questions on homelessness, affordable housing, immigration, public safety and more. We also discussed LA’s preparations to host the World Cup in 2026, Super Bowl in 2027 and of course the 2028 Olympics! The audience didn’t shy away from asking tough questions and we appreciated the Mayor’s candid responses. Thank you Mayor Bass and team! And thanks to our host .wersinger!

The DRNC is recruiting for a new Land Use Officer to chair the Land Use Planning Committee (LUPC) and be our spokesperson for local land use and transportation issues before the City.
