The 82 annual Nisei Week Japanese Festival took place culminating in a parade which the fire department has been a part of for years. The festival showcases Japanese cultural events, activities and exhibits, including music, entertainment, food and a parade with participants of current and retired Los Angeles City Firefighters.

Come check out our Wildfire Safety Fair at Mount Washington Elementary School on August 3rd from 11am-2pm. The event is free and will include food and desserts. Bring the family and talk with LAFD Firefighters and others about wildfire safety.
