CHOLERA IN NIGERIA: We’re responding to a deadly outbreak that’s growing rapidly in northeast Nigeria. Cholera can be fatal within hours, but when caught early, it is easily treatable. But the region is facing a critical shortage of lifesaving supplies, health workers and trained community mobilizers to help raise awareness and support surveillance.

Our teams are working with Nigeria’s Ministry of Health and partners to increase surveillance, manage and treat cases, provide lifesaving medical supplies and deliver training to community volunteers.

PHILIPPINES: Our Philippines team is responding to the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that rocked the country early Monday morning local time. The team is delivering medicines, medical supplies and generators, as well as conducting rapid assessments to determine additional needs.

International Medical Corps has been active in the Philippines since November 2013, following Typhoon Haiyan. Since that time, we’ve responded to major earthquakes—including the deadly Cebu earthquake in 2025—typhoons, volcanic eruptions and disease outbreaks in the country.

LEBANON UPDATE: The situation for civilians in Lebanon continues to deteriorate. Our team is on the ground, providing emergency medical relief to people displaced and affected by ongoing conflict.

Ebola cases continue to rise throughout Central Africa, putting immense pressure on health facilities and frontline health workers.

Across the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and South Sudan, our teams are supporting health facilities, training frontline workers and working directly with communities to reduce risk and prevent transmission.
