Los Angeles is pushing a massive property tax increase — over 120% for many homeowners — to repair the massive backlog of dark streets after thieves stole copper wiring from streetlights. Rather than securing infrastructure and aggressively pursuing the criminals, the city disbanded the Heavy Metal Task Force and is now billing property owners.

Susan Shelley from the **Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association** joins host Shawn Osborne for a hard-hitting conversation on why responsible taxpayers should not be forced to pay for government failures.
