The La Brea Tar Pits mobile museum made its historic first visit to the Antelope Valley today, bringing prehistoric fun and learning to 900 students at Quartz Hill Elementary School (Westside Union School District). The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County’s incredible educational programs allow kids to play interactive games, touch real fossils, and ask lots of questions to make their lessons stick like tar! 🦕

I'm committed to working with our community partners to take the guesswork out of rebuilding for Eaton Fire survivors. Through the Tonia Homes Initiative (a partnership between The Foothill Catalog Foundation, Williams Rebuild, and The Callahan Family Foundation), residents get access to a clear, streamlined rebuilding pathway in real time. These demonstration and exhibition homes will be open and accessible so Altadenans can learn about realistic costs, timelines, and construction to inform their own rebuild, ultimately decreasing costs, headaches, and the time it takes to get back home.
