We enjoyed meaningful conversations with staff, campus partners, and community members at MLK Hospital during our Coffee with a Deputy event. Thank you to DHS, DMH, and MLK Community Hospital personnel for joining us and helping strengthen community trust and safety.

As our community rallies behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in this year’s World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reminds all fans to celebrate responsibly.
We encourage everyone to enjoy the games safely, whether watching from home, at a local restaurant, or attending public gatherings.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
• Don’t drink and drive. Plan ahead by designating a sober driver, using public transportation, or scheduling a ride share.
• Be respectful of others. Keep celebrations friendly and avoid confrontations or unsafe crowd behavior.
• Follow all laws and safety regulations. Deputies will be actively patrolling to ensure a safe environment for all fans. Additional law enforcement resources will be deployed to address unlawful activities.
• Report suspicious or unsafe activity. If you see something, say something. Call 9-1-1 for emergencies or contact your local Sheriff’s station for non-emergencies.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, and police chiefs from surrounding jurisdictions, are working closely to ensure public safety and prepare for any potential unruly celebrations. Together, we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all residents and fans as we cheer on our Dodgers during the World Series.

Hall of Justice deputies and Security Officers refreshed safety skills with County Services Bureau K-9 Deputy Meyers today, staying ready to keep everyone safe.

Spreading holiday cheer by teaming up with the Department of Health Services to support local families this season.

Dodgers Celebration Parade kicked off at Grand Park earlier today.

CSB's High Desert Hospital personnel were able to spend time with several children.
