Tonight, Rampart Gang Officers were conducting routine patrol when they observed a driver inhaling nitrous from a balloon in a parked vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle to investigate and observed a hand gun in the back seat.

Officers took the suspect into custody without incident and recovered a loaded hand gun from the rear seat. Outstanding work by all involved protecting the Castle. 🏰

On October 10,2026, Rampart Gang Officers conducted a traffic stop for multiple vehicle code violations in the area of Pico and Burlington. During the traffic stop officers, observed a satchel in the passenger rear floorboard of the vehicle and a partially exposed handgun protruding from the bag. The suspect was taken it to Custody with the incident and the fi***rm was recovered. Outstanding job protecting the Castle. 🏰

Rampart Gang Units responded to a shooting radio call at 7th st and witmer. While canvassing the area, a second radio call came out of a possible suspect on Linwood and witmer.

Officers located the suspect lying under a parked vehicle. Officers took the suspect into custody and recovered a fi***rm at slide lock. Outstanding job by all involved protecting the Castle. 🏰

Today, Rampart VICE conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of a suspect for a violation of Penal Code § 350 (Sale of Counterfeit Goods). The operation resulted in the recovery of approximately 37 counterfeit luxury watches bearing the Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Cartier brand names, with an estimated retail value exceeding $370,000.
Additionally, counterfeit Burberry shirts were also recovered. Outstanding work by all involved protecting the Castle! 🏰

60 years ago today, the Los Angeles Police Department opened Rampart Station. Today, we honored 60 years of “Protecting the Castle” with a formal ceremony and inspection. Rampart personnel were nothing less than outstanding representing in their dress uniforms. Outstanding job by all involved. Also, many thanks to all our supporters who attended. 🏰🫡

Last night, Rampart Narcotics was back at it again. They were working an investigation which led to the arrest of two drug dealers and seizure of over half a “kilo” of co***ne along with over $3,000 in U.S. currency. Outstanding work by all involved. If you sell drugs in Rampart, you are going to jail or federal prison. Rampart cops and our federal partners are always protecting the Castle! 🏰

Today at zero dark thirty hours, LAPD Rampart personnel conducted public safety operations at a problematic encampment on Beverly at Madison. Officers completed 41 citations for 41.18 LAMC, made
4 Felony arrests (2 Probation violation, 1 Parole, 1 Felony warrant), and 1 misdemeanor warrant. Additionally, 1 handgun was recovered. Once completed, the Mayor’s Office Inside Safe Team moved in with assistance from CD-13 and placed 61 people into housing. Outstanding job by all involved keeping the community safe. Last night, Rampart Narcotics was working the area surrounding MacArthur Park. Ultimately, they made contact with two separate narcotics dealers in the same vicinity. Both were subsequently detained for further investigation and a large amount of prescription drugs were seized to include Xanax, Hydrocodone, Clonazepam, and Oxycodone. Both suspects were arrested for 11375 (b)(1) HS – Possession for sale of prescription medication. Law Enforcement will not stop until we rid the area of illegal narcotics. Thanks to all involved for keeping the community safe and protecting MacArthur Park. 🏰
