“Our Pride” South LA, a community celebration of the many identities of LGBTQ South LA, is co-sponsored by Los Angeles City Council member Marqueece Harris-Dawson and council member Herb Wesson, in partnership with Embrace LA, Department of Cultural Affairs and various community organizations.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 8th from 6PM to 9:30 PM, just before LA's Pride weekend, at the Crenshaw Baldwin Hills Mall Sears “Bowl” area, next door to Sears and across from the “Kickin Crab”.
"Our Pride" South LA will include information booths; food trucks; and FREE live entertainment featuring artist B-Slade, Medusa & Kiki Kyte. Our honorees this year are Jewel Thias-Willams (The Village Health Foundation) and Ms. Ebony Lane (Color Me Beautiful makeup bar)
