Dear Can't-idates Facebook Followers...I want to let y'all know I could use a little bit of help if you're up for it. I'm looking into doing something more for 2020 but need to get the word out about the book. And to see about bumping up the reviews on Amazon. So, the favor...if those of you who haven't bought the book could give it a look, it would really help. And if those who have but didn't leave a review could...even better! Think of it as a way to find some hope in a campaign season that is already way to stressful. Thanks!
The Can't-idates: Running For President When Nobody Knows Your Name
At 2:31 a.m. ET on Nov. 9, 2016, Donald Trump was declared president. By 2:32 a.m. ET, every pundit worth his or her cable news contract told us exactly why he won. It was simple, really. Voters who felt ignored for too long by career politicians like Hillary Clinton opted to elect a political no...

I wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to whoever it is out there that recently left a fantastic, five-star review of "The Can't-idates." We're edging back to almost 70 reviews, and stand at 5-star status. And while I realize how preacher/choir this is, the book is becoming ever more relevant as our politics gets increasingly depressing and uncertainty over the 2020 election gets more prevalent. If you haven't read it yet, maybe now's the time! Thanks!

So once every two years now, I like to remind people I wrote a book. It was about the election that gave us him. And spoiler alert, in the end, it find hope in the electoral process in surprising places that everyone else has ignored. So, to drive home this reminder, please feel free to join in this event on May 19. Seriously, it would be amazing to have anyone and everyoine there.

Another AMAZING recommendation for "The Can't-idates," from legendary CNN journalist Lisa Ling. Please share this post as much as you can and, if you haven't yet, considered reading the book. (IM me if you're interested in getting the PDF.)
"Every four years, Americans elect the person they feel best represents them to lead this country. But given the astronomical amounts of money required to even get a seat at the table, the candidates who make it past the primaries aren't exactly representative of the average American. Craig Tomoshoff's "Can't-idates," is a series of vivid portraits of every day Americans, some quirkier than most, who aspire to change things for real people, like themselves, by running for the highest office in the land. Politics have been crazy, but the Can't-idates are not."

It seems as though every hour, we have less and less reason to believe that our political system can inspire and make us better people. (I'm looking at you, Mooch....) If you are tired of this relentless negativity, of politicians who refers to take personal accountability, please consider giving "The Can't-idates" a look if you haven't already. I promise you'll find it a welcome relief from the horror show in D.C. and something that will inspire your life and your politics. https://www.amazon.com/Cant-idates-Running-President-Nobody-Knows/dp/0997852046/ref=dp_ob_image_bk

Second edition out now...and while I admit to having a bias here, The Can't-idates is way more timely now than I ever figured. Seriously. Please check it out if you haven't yet, and please give this podcast a listen as well. Thanks for the support and thanks to Bob Makela for all this.
