Lin-Manuel Miranda on Twitter “Gmorning. You’ve got stuff in your head that no one else has got. And you’ve got stuff in your head that you think you bear alone, but I PROMISE you share with so many. Only way to know the difference is to spill it out. On paper, into a mic, to a shrink, onto a canvas. Let’s go”

Since I don't know anyone who makes art (especially funny art) out of an abundance of positive life events, I thought y'all may find this of interest.

Oh, heck! I could get so much art done in a place like this. Swoon.
Hollywood Women's New Workspace: Jane Club to Provide a "Matriarchal Oasis" A Hancock Park cottage will house the boutique work spot, founded by 'Grace & Frankie' actress June Diane Raphael and producer Jess Zaino, as New York-based The Wing also announces plans for an L.A. outpost.
From today's "Broadway Briefing" email:
"THIS DAY IN BROADWAY HISTORY: In 1983, Moose Murders opens and closes in the same night at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre."
A helpful reminder that they're not all gonna be winners. Just make something, get it out there, and even if it bombs, it will *probably* still be better received than "Moose Murders."

Today, both of your humans facilitated art at an actual ART FAIR! (I, Kate, ran the A/V, and Andy fixed the computer that I needed to run the A/V off of.)
I don't think either of these count as our personal art for the day, but the day ain't over yet. So much good craftiness to behold!

A note from Human Andy on the importance of eating your own dog food.
Dog Food Eating one’s own dog food is a very popular term in Silicon Valley, amounting to “use your own product or service, dummy,” and, in fairness, if you don’t, who will? That’s why, back in 1980, Apple CEO Michael Scott made the office staff get rid of their typewriters and why Microsoft put iP...

On The Benefits of Plain Text Formatting in Creative Writing Much to Kate’s dismay, I’m going to spend our inaugural blog entry advocating for writing everything in plain text, even your scripts. Don’t stop reading! It’s going to hurt less than you think. In a former life, I worked as a Creative for Apple. “Creative” was Apple’s special propriet...

We're testing out some new features for the page. So far it's going great!
(Andy's last message was "Tell my human wife I love her." But the chat bot wouldn't do it.)
In 2018, may we all be more like this gal. "Life is to short not to do what you want to to, whether it's painting, or ballet, or yoga... So start doing what you love right now."
Make that art, people.
The first "Hey, Dude, remember to make art today" email is on its way! Happy Launch Day, y'all.

Hello, Humans! We launch Jan. 1, and I'm excited to work with you! What art are you going to commit to this year?
Services We're Here to Help
Human Muse Bot is an accountability service for creative workers who want or need an outside nudge in order to meet their daily goals for artistic output. Human Muse Bot pairs artists, writers, crafters, and other creative types with a dedicated, real-life person to keep them on track.
With twice daily checkins, five days a week, we will be excited for you when you send us proof that you made some art, and very slightly disappointed when you don’t. It’s gentle nagging for those who benefit from an outside force to help prioritize their art-making, and it will never be automated. Artists receive an art-making report card at the end of each month, so they can bask in the glow of all that productivity.
Art is work. Human Muse Bot helps you get it done.
